| Lee Wade Austin was born on October 22nd, 1964. He joined Dark Night Films in 2002 on the set of Evil On Queen Street. The role of Rick was originally written with Steve Austin in mind, but when Steve passed on the role, his brother Lee was an obvious choice for a replacement. Lee had no prior acting experience before taking on the role, but his performance in the film is now definately one of the most memorable. Lee followed up that role with a different role altogether in Chameleon Killer in 2003. He took on the part of smart ass deputy Tyler, this role was a reversal of the Rick character and he played it perfectly. The only problem Lee had with the role came when Brian Ramme as the sheriff and his character were to find the naked body of a young victim laying in the shower. The footage of the victim's body was shot seperately and Lee more then a bit disappointed that he had to just act like he was seeing the naked girl. Lee's performance as Rick was recycled in the 2004 Evil On Queen Street: Ascension and it still seems to be a favorite among the audience. |
