| Isaak Partlow started working with Dark Night Films in 2002. He was originally interested in playing a role in The Stooges - Episode V: Die, Stooges, Die, but Matt Spease couldn't work him in at such a short time. He met with Matt about future roles and Matt offered him the role of Professor Max Burton/The Demon in Evil On Queen Street. But originally since he loves doing comical parts, Isaak wanted to play the role of Rick (the part that eventually went to Lee Wade Austin). Filming started not long after, Isaak found the role of The Demon to be quite challenging. Not only did he have to change the way he usually performs due to being under a mask, but he had to get the characters brutal physicality down. He was credited as Nathan Partlow for the film. In 2003 Isaak did two films with Dark Night Films, one was Dark World: Duel Of The Assassins and the other was the critically acclaimed Chameleon Killer. The role in Dark World was that of Joe Riley, the unlikely hero. In Chameleon Killer it was the small but impressive role of Reed. In fact, most fans believe his scene with Matt and Brian Ramme in the interrogation room is the best in the film. The end of 2003/early 2004 was a bit of a quite time for Isaak. He was reinstated into the new Evil On Queen Street: Ascension as Professor Max Burton, but unlike Rodney Duncan, he had no new scenes to shoot for the film. But his quite time ended when he landed a role and made his directorial debut in the horror anthology Evil Deeds... He was also asked to return as The Demon for Domination: Evil On Queen Street 2, the verdict is still out on whether or not he'll make it into that film though. |
