| E.H. Jenkins was born Ernest Houston Jenkins July 30th, 1989 to Mark Jenkins and Roxanne Long. Being the nephew of director Matt Spease, he gained a love of horror films and acting as well. His first work with his uncle was in the 4th comedy short film, The Stooges: Revenge Of Mister Fields in 1996 in role of a very young package delivery boy. Later the next year Matt cast him as the abused little boy in the 6th follow up film, The Stooges: Nightmare, which ended up being one of Matt's longest films running at 2 hours and 33 minutes. It was later cut down and sequences were re-shot in 2000 as the short film Evil On Queen Street, however E.H.'s scenes were cut from this version. But his older brother Mark Anthony Jenkins played the killer in the film. In 2002 E.H. got his largest role to date (at the time) as that of Pete Holliday in the sci-fi parody remake The Stooges - Episode V: Die, Stooges, Die. In heavy make up and an extravagant costume, he played the vampire brother to the cybernetic killing machine named Nick Holliday. That same year, E.H. was cast in the role of the annoying pest of a brother to Professor Max Burton/The Demon in the first feature length version of Evil On Queen Street, he also co-wrote the script with Matt. In 2003 he reprised his role of Pete Holliday wearing an updated and sleeker costume in the semi-serious Sci-Fi remake, Dark World: Duel Of The Assassins. He then played the character of Wesley Barres in The Chameleon Killer. After a few discussions with Matt, he convinced him to (against Matt's better judgment) make some short fan films that were to be available for download on the web site. The first of these was Jason Vs. Leatherface, which was loosely based on the Topps Comics series of the same name. E.H. ended up playing Leatherface (for the first time under the credit of E.H. Jenkins). At the end of the year shooting began on a second fan film, titled Michael Vs. Jason. In 2004 after a troubled shoot, Michael Vs. Jason was released on the site for download, E.H. portrayed the role Jason. After the short fan films fiasco was over and done with, Matt was disgusted with the whole idea and took the shorts off the site. E.H.'s role in the film Evil Deeds is basically an in-joke, since his character's name is Jason and there is a referance line in film spoken by Matt's character of Rico. E.H. also played the physical performance as The Hermit in the film (although the wrap around segment was totally cut from the Recut version). However, Matt was semi-impressed with E.H. Jenkins portrayal of Jason in the short Michael Vs. Jason and decided to let him take over the role of The Demon in stand in shots for Evil On Queen Street (2006). E.H. is usually willing to do anything to make a scene look as good as it can, however he was not willing to allow actor Rodney Duncan to place, his former wrestling finisher, The Jackknife Powerbomb on him during the film's finale, opting instead for him doing a DDT on him. |
